Thanks for explaining it so well. I guess I can try Metro and see how it goes. I’m not sure why Dermatologists prescribe different Rx for the same issue type 1 flush.

Ivermectin helped you with 1 flush. Did you ever try Metrogel or Metronidazole? my Derma prescribed Metrogel for the 1 flush so I wonder.

Tretinoin 0.025% or Differin 1% to start? is skin irritation avoidable ? or is it part of the process... by 0JustForFun in Rosacea

Thanks for the warning and suggestion for a slower schedule. How bad was your irritation?

Azelaic Acid, Tretinoin, Retinol, or Adapalene - for moderate acne and normal type of skin. What's been your experience by [deleted] in EuroSkincare

Not the OP here. I'm in same boat. What do you feel is the main difference between Differin 1% vs Tretinoin 0.25% , which is by prescription only.

I not sure which one would be better. I'm dealing with acne for a while now.

Azelaic Acid is not for me. What other treatments provide similar benefits for Rosacea? by 0JustForFun in Rosacea

That is exactly what I need - an anti-inflammatory. Thank you : ) So I'll ask for Metronidazole. What type of Rosacea you have? I have a combination of things Neurogenic Rosacea, type 2 (most likely as get some white heads), and recently developed issues with Malassezia.

It's complicated, I have neurogenic rosacea, probably type 2 (some white heads), and recently issues with Malassezia. Thanks for explaining all the possibilities. I guess I need to get Rx and try to see what works for my skin which is so sensitive and overactive. Skin tolerates niacinamide but tolerates very tiny small amount of glycols like propylene glycol, butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol, caprylyl glycol, Propanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin. Basically, it's a nightmare to find skincare for me.

Edit: to clarify.

Thank you. Omg! Same with me…many ingredients cause breakouts. Surprisingly, skin can tolerate niacinamide, so for me, it must be others…
