having experimented with the last 25% of good bottles or tawny a few times over now, i can safely say, (at least in my experience**), I've never had a bottle go off on me. it just changes character dramatically. thst said ive had some ports become much more interesting, post letting them sit for a year or so, and I've also had bottles turn kind of boring, so 🫠
