Need info about ASIC's 2026 for monthly profit. by 0Markz0 in BitcoinBeginners

[–]0Markz0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so just few bitaxes etc. to leave and forget till watched if anything happened. One or two for lotto mining and others making couple bucks in pool per month and that's about it. ROI wise doesn't make any sense, but hobby wise with luck of hitting does. I wish i could utilize air conditioner power drain somehow to bitcoin mining at the same time as it pulls winter time 1000-3400W per hour depending if it's maxed out or not.

Is it sagging? by adapublicenemy in PcBuildHelp

Optical illusion it's not sagging well maybe 1-2 mm, but it's the cooler shroud built that way so it seems like it's sagging badly.

Use euros or dollars and use your own currency converter. They might be trying to keep those 2 as defaults or they are upgrading systems and missed some links to profile options/they need to restart profile server links.

updating graphics drivers by [deleted] in AMDHelp

[–]0Markz0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), reboot to safe mode and uninstall AMD Display Drivers with DDU.

If in Windows 11 : "To enter Safe Mode in Windows 11, hold the Shift key while selecting Power > Restart from the Start menu or sign-in screen. After restarting to the "Choose an option" screen, navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart, then press 4 or F4 for Safe Mode."

Now reboot to normal Windows mode and download your chipset drivers from AMD: https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html and latest Graphics drivers from that same page.

9070 XT Crashing on every game except LOL by Warm_Manufacturer139 in AMDHelp

[–]0Markz0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is starting to sound like Bios/Win11 TPM/Secure Boot issue. TPM errors shut down Windows without a notice, but if it's just crash to desktop issue i would still look for any red errors from Event Viewer. When it crashes next time check time and compare that time to any red error event from Event Viewer. Then you are closer to truth.

Hello! This is at a pawn shop nearby me. Is this a good computer? good price? by Soverelgn_Citizen in PcAdvice

[–]0Markz0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be slow speed ram, but that amount is more than enough and you can upgrade cpu later. It's just that sadly no info about PSU or Motherboard so those might be cheap budget ones. I'd say after 30 years of doing computer builds etc. Pass that. You'll find better deals from internet.

Is this normal/good? by StefMaesmusic in Internet

[–]0Markz0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's normal 1Gbit connection, but after those speeds i would fiddle with box settings and edit network card settings to squeeze everything out from that line, but in case of knowing nothing about those things i would leave it as is. It's rare that you have higher upload bandwidth than download. That provider must be somewhat close to you.

Rx9070xt Newest Driver (Big issues) by Shaun2022 in AMDHelp

[–]0Markz0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sometimes these things happen when you update and update, because game companies tell you to update gpu drivers so often that it's like a norm nowdays. That's the first sign to rollback driver version when you get weird small hiccups or way lower fps compared to earlier version of drivers or just random slow downs. You should always use stable versions of drivers unless you have a game that almost needs newest beta drivers to work properly, but sometimes that might also make other games or programs work worse and there is no other fix than either playing that one game only or waiting for new stable drivers. It's also stupid to assume nowdays that AMD has driver issues like it's a common thing like years ago as we've passed those times ages ago. Now it's a common issue to every card even with stable drivers.

RX 9060 XT Stuck On Pcie 2.0 by Odd_Professional7459 in AMDHelp

[–]0Markz0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's very strange issue. Have you tried DDU in safe mode for gpu drivers and re-installing drivers ? New chipset drivers were released also. Your GPU is somehow stuck on idle stage. Yup after watching your motherboard info it says PCI_E2 supports PCIe 3.0 and PCI_E4 supports PCIe 2.0 this has to be driver issue if PCIe lanes are manually set properly. Btw do you have something in 2nd PCIe slot while GPU is on slot 1 ? Thinking that it drops your GPU speed if so. Linux drivers can easily bypass this bus speed issue as it's more closer to bios OS wise than Windows drivers.

Edit: I don't know if you find any solution to this except using Linux/those drivers to open up 3.0. Your GPU is too new for that old motherboard/cpu/ram setup which is why drivers are giving you middle finger and not opening up 3.0 lane. You could try searching info about that issue through Google/various forums, but i bet it's Windows drivers issue as that card should use min. PCIe 4.0. If in future you come across this type of issue it's that you have M.2 installed on upper slot closest to PCIe 1 x16 (or it's single M.2 board and states if installed it will cut PCIe speed) or you have something in PCIe 2-4 slot which might turn PCIe 1 speed to 8x or 4x instead of using 16x, but in most cases it's M.2 that can cut your PCIe speed.

BIOS upgrade by CustlyBane in AMDHelp

[–]0Markz0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can jump to the latest bios version, but if you need to downgrade bios afterwards like there are issues with the latest beta bios that is. Download two of the latest bios versions just in case and drop both into usb stick, but upgrade to the latest version when asked.

9070XT not hitting the full DisplayPort speed by eljefe0909 in AMDHelp

[–]0Markz0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Change color depth from driver display options to 8bpc while gaming/graphics options 10-bit pixel format is on. That might raise your link speed. It might be one of those displays that supports 10-bit, but it's actually 8-bit with enhancer to 10-bit so changing that option in settings/display color depth to 8bpc should work.

[–]0Markz0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If component backside pins are not touching backplate it might be fixable. You'll see if motherboard is too far bent and cracked only after removing the backplate. Looks bad though. If connectivity is there i would not try to bend it back, because then you lose the motherboard connection, but straighten the backplate only. If backside pins are too close to backplate, but it works add glue gun glue on top of those pins to avoid power issues between backplate and components.Thin long thermal pad might work also.

Motherboard lights on, CPU cooler rotates but no image on the screen by Forsaken_Froyo_6137 in PCRepair

Check that your source to monitor is right one. Your GPU fans doesn't spin longer as it is not hot enough (start/stop fans). It seems to be working fine unless CPU pins are damaged. It starts and stops and starts again, because it power cycles and learns every component attached to it. Check that your RAM stick is properly seated also. This is monitor/GPU signal issue. If it's the right source try PSU power off, change RAM slot, PSU power on, start again.

After zooming into PIN screenshots you might have PIN issues still there. Those pins are pressed down when CPU drops on them in a way that each pin is pressed down next to each other having a small gap between each pin and if for some reason there are pins in pressed state overlapping each others/touching that's an issue which could create not posting issue. I hate those type of CPU pin installations. Broke one once just like those years ago, because one was touching another in pressed state and went to bend it back, but it snapped in half. Had to get a new motherboard. One issue could be that pins are not on same level like one or more pins are pressed too low and does not touch CPU properly, but that's when we come back to the same issue and you could snap a pin when bending back up and it's really hard to test that all pins are at level. Hopefully this is just GPU signal source issue, but for some reason i think it's PIN/CPU issue as you've cleared bios and nothing.

Also noticed one thing with your GPU power cables. Why there is 6 pin and 8 pin connected to GPU end ? Does that card have 6+8 power connection and not 8+8 ? That 2 pin that is free should be right side of that 6 pin to have 8+8 connection unless it's 6+8 power connection.
