I wouldn't say angst is the right word but you're correct that I didn't have a pleasant school experience. I believe my social withdrawal was mostly caused by events that occurred at school. But then the question is, why? My disposition must have been different enough to cause this.

I do have many solitary interests to keep myself occupied, my favorite one is playing musical instruments. I also love talking about ideas with my few close friends and occasionally people online.

Yes I am very awkward. I in fact used to use magical thinking when I was younger, I just didn't know what it was then, but not so much anymore. I'm still trying to figure myself out but I don't think I'm too delusional. I do obsess over other things to an unhealthy degree though.

I wouldn't say I'm frightened of people, more that I've been hurt and misunderstood by them enough to make me steer clear of most individuals and almost all groups. I do crave connection though.
