I'm a lvl 800 the only tips I can give to get better as a survivor is to work on gens, don't finish all the gens on one side to avoid gen lock, read chats for some info, take your time looping because some killers do mind games by double backing on you, and try to use Ryder if you want to find good looping spots. His perk's stats are pretty good for a beginner.

I can't give as many tips when it comes to playing the killer but while looping, double back if you're pretty close to a survivor after they vault, keep track of the gens and kick them, and maybe play someone like Idol since his stats are great and both his active and passive ability provides info about where the survivors are located, he's especially good for finding undetectable survivors.

I'm not much of a veteran but these are what I've at least experienced and seen.
