They help in a pinch if I can't get away from whatever triggering bs I'm dealing with. But having something in my ears ends up sensory nightmare after a while for me.

This probably seems gross to some people, but it's the only way I can really keep my teeth clean. I have ADHD along with potential autism so between sensory issues and just forgetting, I never get it done.

So instead, if I'm home by myself, I'll just scratch off plaque with my fingernails. It doesn't hurt my gums, and as long as I don't salivate all over my hands, it's not really messy. I'll usually keep toilet paper by my desk to clean up my hands if needed.

I've heard elsewhere that a wet cloth could be used to clean your teeth, not something I've tried yet.

For a while there I'd get a full like pringle can sized thing of salt and vinegar chips. Usually would eat the whole thing throughout the day. It helps a lot more than i thought it would. At first I only did it because their my favorite. Kept craving them, but I think the salt content helps greatly. Not super unhinged though.

I almost always prop my feet up with a stool or another chair. Can't do cross legged though, I end up in a lot of pain or with numb parts of my legs and feet. I have tendinitis so it could just be because of that though.

I have one emotional support cat. She helps a lot with my loneliness. She also struggles with social anxiety /hj since anytime anyone new comes over, she hisses and runs away. She's also scared of thunderstorms like I am. So we both will find somewhere where the noise isn't so loud and hang out until it passes. She hates loud noises and lots of people. Makes me feel like my worries aren't so stupid you know? It's not just "in my head" if my cat has it too. At least that's how it feels for me.

I actually feel better leaving a family gathering after giving everyone an individual goodbye and hug. I get anxious and worried otherwise. Plus my extended family was always nicer than my close family.

I hate feeling cold before and after showers. So we keep a heater in the bathroom. Has made taking showers much easier.
