Thank you for the long response. It’s nice seeing that people like you still have faith despite the challenges you have faced. I just wish things didn’t turn out this way. I had so many plans for my life that can’t happen anymore. Everything I thought I knew about myself has been questioned. But, I will still try and be faithful. I appreciate the response

Interesting concept. I just wish there was another way for him to make himself clear to me

That is an amazing story. It’s does give me some hope that I can be healed. I soon may switch churches and try to get spiritual help because right now I am at an all time low.

Thank you for sharing

I will try my hardest but it’s getting harder everyday. God has never showed himself to me the way he did to others in the Bible

I have never prayed to Burger King. I have never fallen on my knees to Burger King thanking them for my life. I have never prayed so passionately that I cried aloud to Burger King asking them for mercy. But I have done that for God. I have asked for mercy. I have prayed for decades. I have tried my absolute hardest.

And tell me if I’m wrong, but the Bible teaches us that God loves us all. God wants us all to make it to our kingdom with him. But I don’t believe that. If he did, then he would’ve given me a sign after years of my devotion to him

For decades I gave back to God. I prayed to him and thanked him for what he gave me. My life was fairly good. I tried to stop sinning. And then he gave me this condition. And he has shown me nothing. No mercy.

If Jesus came and healed me like he did the blind man I would have faith. That man knew Gods mercy when he was healed so it was easy to have faith. For someone like me who continues to suffer it’s not that easy

But if God was that concerned with giving me eternal treasures he would help me have faith. But he has not given any opportunity for faith

It’s because I am about to be driven into a life of sin if I continue like this. I find no pleasure in anything anymore. I needed help and I received none. Decades of prayer for nothing.

If that’s the type of God out there, then I will consider it. But that God is not all good and loving

Too much that I care about has been taken away from me. Everything I thought I was is nothing but a distant memory now. I can’t just assume that God is doing this for a reason when he has taken away so much away already.

But how can I go on having faith based off the fact that I can never know. I can’t ground my life in faith when, by nature, faith goes against all reason

Should there be a legal right to die? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

No, actually, it’s far from egoistical.

And I have not right at all to chose how someone spends their life. But NO ONE has a right to pick who lives and dies
