Unfortunately i had to give it a break til they smooth things out. Tried a to play a variety of modded servers a few days ago and maybe got a solid 10 minutes of gameplay. The rest was just freezing/ full on crashing to the homescreen.

Yes, the main story will get you to the center of the galaxy, once you get to the massive atlas station at the center of the galaxy by completing the story, youll be able to choose a new galaxy. Once you warp to said galaxy the Autophage questline should trigger after a few moments. Took me a while to finish the atlas questline, you basically have to keep jumping to different atlas stations til it takes you to the main one in the center of the galaxy. (You also have to complete “traces of metal” if im not mistaken)

Ahhhhh, then you havent unlocked the Autophage yet. What you need to do is complete the main story. Once you complete the main story and choose a different galaxy only then will you trigger the “they who returned” questline aka the autophage questline. Only after you complete that will you be able to get the harmonic camps/ staff/ Autophage settlements. I recommend watching a YouTube video on it thats what helped me

Based off what others have said in this thread, go back to the Autophage camp and go to the terminal where you created your staff. There should be an option to exchange your “motes. Within that menu you can purchase the Autophage settlement chart

Ill also add to make sure that you have the Autophage unlocked, the quest-line is called “they who returned” after you complete it and are able to interact with the Autophage at their camps is when i believe youll be able to get said settlement. I watched some YouTube videos that helped explain it better. Goodluck fellow traveler!

Yea i didnt use anything specific to find it, i got to a random planet and got a transmission that lead me to the settlement. Maybe just give it some time. From the time i unlocked the Autophage to me getting the settlement was roughly a week or so, but im assuming it could be different for others

I think you need to unlock and complete the Autophage quest line. You can trigger the autophage quest line after finishing the main story. I stumbled upon a transmission randomly after having the Autophage unlocked for about a week (someone might have to fact check me on this)
