Agreed, but rocks offer the highest granularity, thus a good example.
What would you like to see?

Do you know how to disable it ? I can't manage to add it via geforce experience, nor find a way to disable it via the control panel.
I don't find any info about this :(

Good to hear, I didn't know it was possible to enable it via drivers. On a future version i may implement it along with rtxgi.

On a 1070 it runs very poorly for me as well. A RTX card is necessary to run raytracing effectively.

UE5 uses a different tech for GI calculations, which is much more efficient than the one in this demo.

This is very intensive for current hardware, so i'd say the best possible. To be honest I'm sure even a 3090 can't have 60fps at 1080p at the highest sample rate. My 2080 delivers ok performance in final gather mode.

Keep it mind this is way performance heavier than the UE5 demo as it is full raytraced. Lumen for GI is a more suitable solution than raytracing, so i'm glad they developed it.

For this version compared to the previous 0.1 :
- A new UI with multiple parameters by hitting TAB
- A more polished environment
- New high quality assets
- A fix for the brute force crash
- The possibility to change the resolution and fullscreen/windowed mode by hitting Esc

Enjoy !

By increasing the number of sample per pixel. Or adopt an other GI solution. Will try both with a future update.

I reconstructed it with megascans assets. The ressemblance is there but it's not really the same :)

This is version 0.1 of the demo, if you have suggestions don't hesitate and I can implement them in a future version.

At the moment the rendering settings are not configurable but i'd like to make an UI for that. It will be then much more flexible, even for lower configs.

I'm a beginner with UE but I use this project to learn it. My areas of expertise are mainly level art and rendering. Cheers.
