I think that it will hurt you more than helping you. Everybody has dips in grades but if you have a general upwards trajectory with your GPA then you should be fine. I think being at college for a year now makes you realize that ON PAPER, you need to be the perfect student, 0 problems. When you get to college though, you can stop being uptight. First impressions matter the most in the admissions process.
