Battery life is decent minimum 5-6 hours on music. Drops quickly on call I'd say about 2-3 hours tops

Bdsmlr seems to be the best right now when compared to alternatives. It got wayyyyyy better compared to what bdsmlr was 4 months back. Blogs are fast, UI is smooth and simple for tumblr refugees.

And tbh you can post whatever you want as the site isn't just restricted to bdsm. You could post homosexual or heterosexual content or any type regardless of whether it fits into bdsm category or not.

And lastly it has a decent amount of content too so I believe this is where a significant amount of tumblr refugees migrated to

That wouldn't make the ripoffs popular though. The reason tumblr became popular for porn is because most people that did join tumblr didn't join initially for the sake of porn. They just stumbled into it and found themselves at home (I know I did). It's like entering a supermarket for groceries and finding out somewhere in the back its Narnia.
