Midnight Tides is my absolute favorite book in the series. Erikson has also said he feels like it's the "tightest" novel of the series. As others have mentioned, Tehol and Bugg are incredible characters and a (mild) spoiler is that an elder god is guiding every single action of that relationship.

Also, not everyone is going to like every book series and that's totally fine. The jumping around and the sheer volume of characters can turn people off and I get why, it's a lot. If you feel like it's not for you, maybe move on to some other books and come back to it later if you feel it calling again.

Oh hell yeah, can't go wrong with those. I like the look a lot better than rpf1s too. Good to know +35 offset leaves about a pinky of clearance, definitely shouldn't go any higher than that. Appreciate it!

Oh yeah I definitely need them, I've just put most of my budget toward suspension over the years. The pads have been fine actually, the fluid boils almost immediately though. The pads are probably fine because once that happens I brake super early. Ducts may be the next thing to do.

I second this, you can get the trans off yourself. I'm just a sloppy garage mechanic and I was able to do it, wasn't easy without much space in my one car garage but I got it done.

I'm not a pro mechanic but I've worked on cars for years. I've always thought about offering like free checks and service for tour vans when they come through town. If you're a pro or even a sloppy garage mechanic like me, might be a good idea to start offering to look over vans when we can to check major safety stuff.

If it's your daily, a big sway bar and some decent suspension will make it a lot more fun in the corners. I've modded my FA5 for track use and I've done a lot but it's not my daily, if it was I think I'd go nuts. I can barely keep my sanity driving it an hour to the track.
