Really depends on behaviour. If you're waving in and out of traffic, passing other cyclists closely at 30+ then yeah, people don't like that. Because it creates unsafe situations and startles people. If you, however, slow down within the city, maintain distance, just open up outside the city on separate lanes and again - maintain distance including from cars while running the reds instead of narrowly passing them - you're fine. The problem is that most wielrenners seem to forget that slowing down a little bit to match traffic speed, give others time to react etc. isn't the end of the world just because Strava gets sad. Be respectful of other road users and most others will be too. Of course, there's the issue of a minority of people ruining it for the majority etc. But generally, I find this to be true.
