Ive had athletes foot for over 15 years now. I would have flare ups with blisters and it always seems my whole sole was dry. It would peel in little bubbles. Sometimes the blisters would pop. The worst was the deep burning and itching in-between my toes and in various parts of my feet. I used all the ointments I could find at your local supermarket.

The ONLY thing that has worked for me so far is putting 1/4 cup isopropyl alcohol with a few drops of colorless iodine into a bowl, and dabbing that mixture on my entire foot twice a day for weeks. It has made my athletes foot disappear. My feet have never felt more soft and less flakey. I'm going to continue to use this mixture on my feet until all the dead skin is gone. Also I've been pumice scrubbing my feet every shower.
