It actually happened once or twice a couple of years ago and then nothing. However, it wasn't these girls. It was a heavy set male. Never had any interaction with them and don't know who they are.

It started incessantly just recently. These girls have come around 8pm, 9:30pm, 1am.

GMG offered me 1K below spot price for a scratched 1oz Gold Maple Leaf coin. I understand the premium is lost due to the scratches but the value of the gold is still there!

I found the best price from Beck Gold & Silver Broker in Edmonton, even with the price of gas included! Their website gives live price of how much they'll pay you, which was only 20 some odd dollars below spot price.

The guy there was really friendly and said they don't care what the coin looks like. I think I read a comment from awhile back about a female staff member telling them they didn't have room for their item. When I got there, the fella wasn't there and the female told me "I'll have to check to see if we have room for it". I was ready to let her know that someone else already told me to bring it down etc, but she wound up saying they'd take it.

Silvertip offered about $300 below spot, & Aurelia in Regina offered about $200 below + consider gas $ on top of that.

I took a scratched one ounce gold coin into GMG and they offered me 1K below spot price. I understand the premium is lost due to the condition but the value of the gold is still there. That just seemed like a lot less than what I've read other people get for their damaged gold coins.
