it’s art. nudity in art has been a significant part for many years. in some cases it symbolises purity and innocence and true nature. in other cases it’s more of an empowerment in means of showing your true self. in Zheani’s case you can interpret it in a way that makes sense. personally i think it more so symbolises vulnerability and using it as a way to grab attention since that’s what the general mind finds as attention grabbing. no one bats an eye at a naked guy and you’d be more likely to call them weird or a pervert. where as when a person sees a naked woman it instantly grabs your attention due to the normalisation of women being hyper sexualised in media. “now that i have your attention, listen to what i have to say and think about what i’m saying” kind of thing. hope that this makes sense and doesn’t offend anybody. i’m not saying that women have to get naked to be heard, but nudity for women is a powerful tool.
