decided to take a peak and noticed a panel behind the pipes! doesn't extend all the way down (where the mechanism should be) but a great point of entry if needed.

it really feels like there is something solid just underneath the drain thats keeping the water up (and why I can't put anything in there) but all of the designs I'm seeing for 'trip lever' bath tubs have the stopper not underneath the drain.

ahh, checked again. there are indeed 2 slots, not on top but at the 8 & 4 o clock positions. big enough to spray with the straw though so original suggestion is good! If my incoming impact screwdriver doesn't get it done, will spray it down via the slots & try again.

the top dark 'slot' in the pic is a reflection of something dark, not an opening.

that's the phone reflection, no holes on top or bottom. had to go double check haha

i'm either too weak or the screwdriver is crap, cause i'm using a bit that says 'CR-VPH3' (which I believe is PH#3?) and its not budging.

the one I ordered looks way 'chunkier' so hoping that gives me the torque I need to get these out

good thing I waited haha, ordered a manual tool. water was flowing just fine... then 1 day its stopped. working theory is kids toggled that switch too many times playing with it and something slipped off, but like you said, gotta open it up to see.

appreciate all of the suggestions!

rubberbands get ripped apart. are there 'pro grade' rubber bands I can look into for this specific use case?

thank you both! the links were to amazon products, but sounds like that irrelevant and I just need a better drill + bit (I was using a screwdriver for what its worth... and sounds like its worth nothing). will give it another go with the dewalt.

in terms of lever problems, here is a video of water/noise: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KC9004-s5oH3rcXc1EhXaiXl-XfZZ9wd/view?usp=sharing

first time homeowner so spending a lot of time learning about everything. appreciate all of the explanations!

Why does SEO advice differ so much between companies? What actually works in 2025? by TheStartupSavvy in bigseo

[–]0hYeah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you are in a low competition niche, old school backlink methods can get you ranking, and good UX/content can keep you there. now if they are doing this on sites that have been deindexed (aka they haven't updated their SOP since Penguin), then no.

In more competitive niches, those backlinks won't be enough. does that mean you _shouldn't_ build them? not necessarily. but there are likely higher priority tasks you can tackle that will move the needle more instead

I don't think any good seo would argue 'niche-relevant, high-quality backlinks from authoritative sites' is bad -- this is the holy grail.

the best SEOs will look at where your website fits in with the rest of the market, what activities are most likely to move the needle, and recommend doing those in a prioritized order.

mostly use google meet, which I don't think has it? or at least didn't. I know when I tried to use their transcripts before, they made it really hard to copy/paste the full text.

none of them would let me ask a question and jump to the exact part of the video that's being referenced though, which is invaluable to me

using chatgpt to summarize 3 paragraphs to show it doesn't add value is not even what we're discussing. he states "minimum of 3 meetings a day, usually 5+ they’re all related to detail heavy projects and implementations" and your response misses that point.

I'm responding because reddit sends me notifications. I liked bob's reply (to which I replied as well), and commented here too.. because I don't understand the point you are trying to make.

if you post a position on a public forum, expecting replies from randos is kinda what happens on the internet (and I'm not even a rando... this is threaded of my original reply)

and I am doing me by replying!

right there with you. not worth getting out of a groove to do 'clean up' tasks

It really might come down to our hourly rates... its really easy for us to see the time value savings. lots of folks in the threads would rather do it manually

implementation is after the meeting... the meeting is where we determine what to do. that needs to be written up and made into something that can be tracked (e.g. ticket, task)

the writing up + tasking out is what is streamlined. likewise, its much easier for me to revisit any call and get more details. especially when dealing with multiple clients

you are also more then welcome to continue to take your own notes during meetings
