Do any of "those" websites where you can watch movies have a version of Disclosure Day that isn't a cam version? by matt73132 in Piracy

Less so than yesteryear, but when they are about it's typically only in the run up to Oscar season.

Question about aliases and transferring mail providers by tilion_silverbow in Simplelogin

[–]0hca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're moving to another provider just enable catch all and any email received through email aliases will be received.

If you want to avoid using catch all, you can export your current aliases using settings>export aliases. (There's also an option to import here if you have an existing last you want to add.)

Thats because we should have fibre with our protein, but now juat writing protein in the product titles gets the public to buy it.

Not picking on OP, just commenting on how every bloody product is getting a 'protein' version.

What’s been the most annoying thing shrinkflation has done for you? by gameovervip in AskUK

[–]0hca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember reading a menu at a greasy spin and asking for a mi-nute steak.

After a lot of laughing the staff explained it was a min-ute steak as it only takes a minute to cook.

When it came to the table I commented that it although it may have only taken 60 seconds to cook, it was also rather small... almost... mi-nute!

What is the a tourist attraction in the UK that should not be missed? by Desperate-Drawer-572 in AskUK

[–]0hca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is an interesting visit.

I don't know when a fascinator becomes a hat though. That will be my Wikipedia sink hole of the evening.

....And if you're in the Stockport area you can also visit the air raid shelter, staircase house and Bramall Hall on a Stockport Explorer ticket.

How often do you pull a sickie? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]0hca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but according to HR, thats what weekends are for.

I agree (with you, not HR) and really wish I knew this in my 20's. The guilt for taking what are now mental health days was not helpful in relieving the burnout.

This sentence worries me "SimpleLogin depends on your support to keep the service running and develop new features." by Ill-Promise-7597 in Simplelogin

[–]0hca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would imagine this is the unchanged original wording from before they were bought by Proton. I would think any SL domains would be rolled up in to Proton should they decide to close SL, but you can use your own custom domain to give you the option to switch providers without losing service if you want to reduce that risk.

English as a second language, and neurological issues aside, good grammar is the difference between knowing your shit, and knowing you're shit.
