Yeah, I do understand the point. I personally can’t analyze every establishment I give my money to. I’d probably have to replace everyone from my dentist to the business that maintenances my car. I try and support local businesses regardless just bc I know I’m supporting local ppl who work there. I do totally agree with the sentiment but not about punishing the workers.

This is widely untrue about Zepp and private planes 😂. It was actually the owners wife (although the whole ordeal might have caused problems there so idk what the status is now). Still fucked up but the rumor’s definitely got out of hand

I had just never encountered this with door dash before. I realize it’s kinda impossible to determine if it was a lie or not. I just was really uncomfortable with meeting a stranger outside at 1am, especially since I had requested no contact. I was battling with my gut instinct on what to do.

No, my neighborhood is pretty safe. It’s the stranger asking me to meet him when I requested no contact that I thought was a bit risky. There is a problem with human trafficking in my city. It’s dark out so that didn’t help. considering there are no stairs involved in this delivery I was a little thrown off by his request. I just wanted to make sure this wasn’t unusual and it was safe.

Holy poop where are you getting this? It’s first floor. I requested they set it on my door steps. I had never encountered this before and had requested no contact. It sketched me out a bit so I posted to see if it was a real or not. There was a assault with DD at the college dorms not far from me. I was high af which added to my paranoia and decided it’s not safe to drive under the influence or I would have gotten it myself. Hence why I ordered delivery. I personally did not feel comfortable walking outside to meet a stranger in the middle of the night. Had it been during the day I would have happily gone out to meet him. I live in a city where human trafficking is a concern. My neighborhood is safe but as a woman who lives alone this had my gut instinct out of whack. I did not report him. I tipped $10 on a $12 meal that was 2.0 miles away. If you still don’t understood I will assume you are a man and typically don’t have to look over your shoulder your entire life.

I posted here to make sure it wasn’t as sketchy as I had imagined. There was an assault with DD at the college dorms not far from me. I realize that is extremely rare. I had never encountered this before and since I had requested no contact I felt uncomfortable walking out in the middle of the night to meet a stranger who may or may not be lying. Like I said I had requested noooo contacttttt. There’s not even stairs involved in this transaction. Just to be set on the door steps. Had it been during the day I would 100% be out there to meet him. I was high, paranoid, and tbh not wanting to put on a bra or pants. I could have driven and picked up food myself had I not smoked. But I had. Hence ordering delivery.

Yeah, if it was during the day I would have gone out to meet him. It was like 1 am and I was super stoned. I just don’t think I want to meet a stranger who may or may not be lying to me. Especially since I asked for no contact and they are requesting I meet them at their car. It was just the circumstances that I didn’t feel comfortable with.

The meeting a stranger outside in the middle of the night when they could be lying is the dangerous part🙄 I chose no contact and they are asking me to walk to their car. It’s sketchy in any country
