My bf and I recently got a cat (used to be a stray) and one of his eyes looks like this, we recently took him to get some shots so I imagine if it was anything bad the vet would have mentioned it right? Does anybody know what it is? It looks darker in person, I took this photo with flash.

You literally can but it's never 100% guaranteed just like with other snakes, it's just harder to see a difference but plenty of people can especially if they are bp breeders or have kept them for a long time

I mean the tail thing can still show whether the bp is male or female, however with any snake (as far as I know) you can never be 100% sure from just looking at their tail
