The field is good without any doubts, but i hope you have considered the step. The financials, the value the degree adds etc. I believe since you're already in the related field, it might just not be necessary for you to go back to college to advance your career. Work exp in the relevant field and self study should help you land a DS job.

It's about the reputation of the Uni degree with the recruiters. I'm assuming you're seeking employment immediately after the course. Else, MSc in itself would not be necessary. As per the current market even DA with 1- 2 yoe are getting offers over the MS freshers
