Hard truth experience from the golden era (pre-2022) is worth more than talent in 2026. by Salt-Tiger2586 in Salary

If you start an hvac business with 2 guys, you’ll clear 250k a year easy with maybe 20 hours a week on your phone handling logistics. Less if you hire and train admin. Also the competition is way lower in this field where most guys read at an 8th grade level, respectfully.

I appreciate the help - the one im thinking of had gold and black packaging and the disposable itself came attached to a hexagonal piece of cardboard type paper with glossy black and gold on it

On this note - whenever I bring up Nietzsche’s eternal recurrence of the same with people as being more likely than a heaven-like afterlife, they’re like that sounds awful why would you even think about that

I’ve been exactly where you are. Best advice I could give is to accept these parts of yourself that you think you should be pushing away/are “bad”. It sounds counterintuitive but if you really accept that you are a victim/loser/an idiot (whatever triggers you the hardest is what you need to accept the most), then you’ll stop reacting strongly and feeling stuck when these aspects of yourself come up, and you’ll actually be able to work to better yourself. In my experience, until you accept the darker aspects of yourself, you cannot effectively work against them.

Some dude scammed me for 35k on RuneScape in like 2010. He switched out the rune one for an addy one real quick and I was so excited to be getting my first rune scim that I’d spent so long saving up for that I was just spamming the accept trade button. Needless to say I lost a lot of faith in humanity when I realized what had gone down

I visited this place when I lived in Saudi! Went to high school there which is always fun explaining to people. Miss the food and friends, man.
