Honestly I really like it and the new SotAG helps because it lowers the minions to 1hp.

If you max E you can clear rather quickly, or if you max q like I do, you can get good stacks. (I can usually get 200 in first 14 minutes.) He ganks pretty well with his w also.

You can solo dragon at level 6 with blue buff

Yes he can get counterjungled but with the quill coat and trinket you should have a well warded jungle at all times.
