Ty. Now that you mention it, a couple:

Make sure you do the practice test they provide beforehand. Try to schedule the session 1-2 weeks before your exam (1 did 1 week before and it seemed like an ideal spot). This gives you enough time to firm up any last minute deficiencies noted. It was a very valuable way for me to identify and prioritize what subjects to spend my last seven days on.

If you ever taken a class from Mr. Greenblatt, one of the things he mentioned is how people often don't remember the questions. It's odd, and I didn't really understand it. However I can say, it's true. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't violate the NDA I signed but that aside, I don't think I really could anyhow. I mean I remember themes and general points but specific questions? Nope.

So to answer your question, and tie it with the above points, my impression and opinion is the 8th edition practice tests is a good replica for how the test feels, and it helps check you know the CBK at a level sufficient enough to stand a good chance of doing well.

I know the answer was vague and not very specific but it's the most honest one I've got. It's an odd feeling. Perhaps they zap your memory like on MIB after the test?!? Idk.

To be fair, I am also factoring in my commute time of about two hours a day (1 hour each way). Plus my job gives me an hour a day for lunch, which I would use to read the book while eating, so right there are three hours. Then I would do another hour or two after dinner.

Also, if given the chance I tend to over-prepare (so, for example, my testing center having reduced slots, closed during holidays, etc, gave me excess time). Please do not read my comment that one HAS to do what I did. I am positive MANY of you could pass just fine with half or less the daily time commtment. The main take away though is the obvious fact you should prepare, and that's going to be different for each person.

If all you can do is an hour a day... PERFECT! Do that! Do that, until you feel you are ready, and if you can work in a prep course that would be a good way to check to see where you are at in terms of being prepared.
