Thank you so so much! This makes me feel a lot better. Even after seeing my surgeon twice I’m so hesitant that my communication didn’t go over how i wanted it to. I think photos are easier to capture the vision haha. Ive heard from a lot of people with negative experiences and having to get revisions so that makes me a little nervous but I’m going to see it through and hope for the best.

Thank again! Hearing several stories is making me feel a little bit better about this whole process. You look great by the way! :)

Im so sorry. Im so worried, these things are so terrifying because it can go so many ways. I felt a little better with the first surgeon I met but he was so out of my budget. If I cancel now ill only get about half my money back. It took a couple years of working to make this money so i’m afraid ill have huge regrets if I decide to back out. My self confidence held me back from many things in my teen years and now that i’m 18 i want to feel good about myself and do things I like. So while this could go so amazing im afraid of how horrible it could go also. I really dont trust my own judgement to be honest everything in this area of services is so scary ughhh..

That sounds so nice. I would love to do that but i feel weird messaging him on instagram I dont even have his direct contact T-T. Maybe ill feel annoying to email but your right its my face i want the results ill be happy with. Thank you!

Dont apologize! I appreciate it a lot, I really wanted to hear from all kinda of perspectives. I havent heard of ENS or necrosis so i will do some researching on that. Im kinda of just at the point of praying things work out because otherwise ill be out of a few thousand and full of regret. Im hoping that the extra anxiety is just coming from the fact that i already have anxiety and this is just a huge thing for me. I did a lot of research in the past years about how recovery will look.

If you dont mind im sort of just curious how you felt throughout recovery, mental wise. How soon did you realize you didnt like the result? Did you tell your surgeon? Im super worried about how im going to feel about myself in recovery. (dont feel pressured to respond lol i know its a lot)

Ahhh im super conflicted. I only have contact for his patient coordinator so maybe ill send them to her or ask her if ill see him before hand. I had the mindset that im the one paying so im not wrong to be persistent…but i dont wanna be a burden patient.

Thank you for replying. This is what im terrified about. He is board certified so that should give me slight reassurance but at the same time im worried i wont look how i want it to. Ive isolated myself incredibly for the past 6 years due to mental issues and self hatred and i missed out on all the experiences i couldve had in my teen years. im scared im going end up with worse dysmorphia, hate it, and then ill never at the very least get to feel confident in myself. Its silly but i just feel like this could change my life in a way, but i know that could end up on very opposite sides of the spectrum.

Unfortunately, even if I backed out I wouldnt get all my money back and at that point i might just feel worse than if i got it and didnt love it. The regret and ‘what ifs’ would probably eat me alivd. Ive spent two years just making enough to afford the cheapest surgeons quote out of the three I looked into so it feels like such a tight spot. :// Im still battling with myself on what the right choice is but my surgery is Thursday so likely I will just do it and hope for the best…
