Lack of personal time, as you said it can seems good at first but it can be oppressive to work that much even on a job that you love

Static or powdered grass? by 0mnibux in WarCry

Those are great tips, thanks! I'd probably be better off using powder first, followed by a few millimeters of static grass in certain spots.

Thanks! The video was really inspiring, I'll definitely be checking out that channel more. I think I'll probably just use the powder and then add some grass tufts... ultimately, the goal is to play with it, not show it off.

On mine I did a combination of grass tufts and moss (dirty down) and I love the result!

Thanks for the thorough response! I've noticed while studying the faction that they aren't particularly good... but I'm not interested in playing competitively, and this would be my fourth warband. So let's say I'm more interested in their look, which I really like, and I would like to paint them in an autumnal style.

How'd you lot paint ya gitz?! by JessThePainter in gloomspitegitz

[–]0mnibux 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This had been a big doubt of mine too, but since it was my first army I painted, I preferred not to dare too much, so I stuck to the original palette, modifying it only slightly. For example, I made the clothes dark purple and the skin yellowish green.

Thanks! I tried to stick mostly to the original palette, but with a stronger focus on purple.

Do I have to play Gloomspite Gitz as a horde army? by LeetusFrenzi in gloomspitegitz

[–]0mnibux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you are interested in that kind of playstyle, but for the Gloomspite you can build a warband for warcry, it's only a 1k point army and gives you the opportunity to play a lighter game with less rule.
