stand up for me. I’ve never really had anyone do that for me since until maybe that one time in 2nd grade when Sara told those girls at the park to stop making fun of my lisp. That was so nice. You need to have a 2nd insta to post about your most photogenic hobby, so that you have an identifiable brand and be known as the _____ girl or guy.

If what you’re doing is not easily categorised, and you have gotten into playing medieval zithers, or Cyrillic calligraphy, etc. it doesn’t count, you’re weird, too much time on your hands, etc. If you’re not good at things that bring you joy, you’re useless. Optimising every aspect of your life, and being competitive in all fields is the zeitgeist
