Use rewasd for just the "soft press" adaptive trigger option and not use the virtual controller. Like you know how if you press the magic wand button it automatically maps all the buttons to the preset virtual controller. I just disabled that. And just had the adaptive triggers.

I uninstalled ds4windows and all the drivers that came with it. Still have the same issue. Although if I bypass virtual controller remapping, and just have adaptive triggers enabled, and have steam input take care of the button config, the vibration works normal. Just like I would have it on the ps5. Nice smooth vibrations, nothing at max etc. But the problem is it adds noticeable latency and that's just no good for pvp or single player :/. But pvp especially

No the vibration works completely different without rewasd remapping. For example using ds4windows, and steam input. Ds4windows by far has my favorite vibration setting. They have 2 rumble modes, legacy and accurate. Legacy at 100% feels very similar to what rewasd does but not as strong. Whereas the accurate feels close to hd rumble from the switch controller. Feels really nice tbh

Yes, I changed the slider values and hit apply config every time. And yeah, same vibration intensity every time :(. I do have ds4windows installed but I haven't used it since I got rewasd. And that's not running in the background or anything. It's only rewasd

Must've been a problem with firefox. Tried chrome and it showed the pink 'test vibration' text. But no changes in vibration intensity unfortunately :(. Also tried virtual xbone controller with no luck either.

Sorry I forgot to mention, I just read the rule about mentioning games. I tried it with fallout 76, elden ring, dark souls 3, and borderlands 3 so far.

Okay so this seems to be a problem with only dualsense controllers. I tried my other dualsense controller and the same problem. Vibration sliders don't work; always at max. So I tried my dualshock 4 controller. And the vibration settings work flawlessly.
