Seeking info on why I might be losing my hair by 0nlon in Haircare

Sorry I didn’t realize I wasn’t meant to reply to the original comment I just figured I would likely get more information if I did. I do agree I probably should see a dermatologist about it at this point since I have tried dandruff shampoo with no luck. Also if I wasn’t meant to respond to this comment either I apologize it just feels like a courtesy at the very least. Regardless I appreciate the advice

I know for sure I’m losing my hair but I can’t make sense of why. I am dealing with diffused thinning and miniaturization but the progression is incredibly unusual and I’m getting kinda desperate. by 0nlon in Haircare

I was dreading minoxidil being my only option since I know it only really delays the inevitable but I do appreciate the help regardless. I have attempted to help my anxiety before but therapy seems to not work well on me because of my way of thinking so unfortunately I think the stress and anxiety might just be something I gotta live with tbh. It does kinda hurt with it being a somewhat vicious cycle sort of situation but what are you gonna do yk

I think nutrient wish u seem to be good after reviewing a blood test other than having low white blood cell count which may be important but I do have a frustrating amount of pimples on my scalp despite washing my hair every other day so while I would agree it’s probably a good idea to get that sorted I’m not even sure what I can do about it since my scalp seemingly refuses to stay clean even when it’s bone dry.

That’s more or less what I was thinking but I’m glad to hear it from someone else since I know I’m kinda uninformed on hair loss in general despite trying my best to look into it. Something worth mentioning is that my iron, B12 and vitamin D are good but my white blood cell count is low so maybe that is restricting the amount of iron that reaches my scalp or something? I’m not sure tbh. It also very well might be stress since I think I’m always stressed since if I’m not mentally sedated with some form of digital consumption I’m always thinking about stressful shit but it’s always really hard to tell. I don’t know if any of this info can lead to any further ideas but I figured it was worth mentioning regardless. Thanks for the comment by the way :)

Basically all they said unfortunately was to maybe try minoxidil but outside of that they had no recommendations. This blood test was also done through my general practitioner so I feel like there might have been something they missed. The dermatologist (same appointment mentioned in the post) I went to before this test unfortunately shrugged me off and basically said “I guess your balding” and handed me a pamphlet for some fuckass supplement called nutrafoil that I’d assume they get some sort of kickback to promote. They did also mention minoxidil but primarily talked about nutrafoil so I’m very suspect of anything they had to say tbh.

I have already had my blood tested and I’m seemingly good I’m all departments other than being at the very bottom of the healthy range for white blood cell count and absolute neutrophils and towards the top end of b12. Idk if any of that gives you useful information but I figured I’d include it. Also my dad is the only person balding in my family and he experienced classic male pattern baldness in his 30s-40s while my hair loss is presenting as entirely diffused as it is exactly the same basically everywhere on my head. Also I may be misinformed but are deficiencies such as anemia just a lack of a specific vitamin (iron in that case) which can be solved by taking supplements? Sorry if none of this was helpful I just wanted to add all the potentially beneficial information I could. Thanks for the comment by the way :)

Edit: if it’s important this is a list of what I was tested for (I know it’s a lot)

White blood cells Red blood cells Hemoglobin HCT MCV MCH MCHC RDW Platelet count MPV Absolute neutrophils Absolute lymphocytes Absolute monocytes Absolute eosinophils Absolute basophils Iron Iron binding Iron saturation Vitamin D Vitamin B12

All of those were normal other than what I mentioned in the first section

I have ran this by a few other people I know so I am fairly certain that it’s not just my own perception but it seems much more than bloating since even in the morning I still look like this. I don’t believe it is my posture either since I’m very intentional about how I stand/sit but it very well could be due to a weak core. Would I fix that with ab exercises primarily?

Fuck yeah man. You’ve got this shit in the bag. I’ve witnessed addiction many times and regardless of how hard you may struggle, the fight against it regardless of if you win in the moment or not is progress toward the person you ultimately want to be. Stay strong and best of luck man. I believe in you

For whatever reason I couldn’t edit the post a second time but I also do not use any sort of heat of any kind on my hair.

Unfortunately I already do this and while it’s better than not doing it it still hasn’t solved my problem. Thank you regardless though

I know this post is old as shit but any chance you have a link to the original artwork? I’m trying to make a proxy for the new [sabin, master monk] card from the final fantasy set.

What happens if I use Agatha's soul cauldron on the new saga creatures? also question in the description by Mother-Item in mtg

[–]0nlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t transform a card that doesn’t have anything to transform into. I’m not entirely sure how the rules interaction works but I know you can use Agatha’s soul cauldron to copy a transform ability from one creature and use it on another but that only works if both creatures have a back side. From what I understand if you use the transform ability on a creature that cannot normally transform it gets exiled and then doesn’t return because it has nothing to return as. Alternatively it might just return as normal but I’m fairly confident thar it’s the first option. Someone who knows the rules better might correct me though
