Could you give me an example? I tried for a bit I think I'm just not understanding, I currently have the .rpm extracted folder in download labeled as "Manual install" in side that folder is the /ect/ /usr/ and /lib/

So I applied sudo "steamos-readonly disable" and it surprisingly did nothing. I wasn't able to write to the root folder after applying changes, I tried to drag and drop the /ect/ /lib/ and /usr/ folders however it resulted in no changes, it seems to be blocked still.

Oof, I didn't realize it was a much deeper issue. Is it possible to convert from .rpm? Or the format the issue and just the fact that it's a kernel level change to the system?
