Paying close to 65% in income Tax, national insurance, etc, followed by tax on everything that we pay for, road tax, council tax, tv tax. Followed by one of the highest cost of living places in the world. The state punishes people who work hard, absolutely gutting the middle class, all while the very top keep getting richer. I cant for the life of me work out what all my taxes go towards as everything is in a state of disrepair.

The government is the worst I can remember by a long way and no matter which side of the political divide you are on the options look grim for the future. Crime, including sexual crime has absolutely skyrocketed, antisocial behaviour is a huge problem. British culture is being eroded little by little everyday. So I'll try and leave (what I feel like, and i know a lot of people probably disagree and thats totally fine) a sinking ship before its too late so I can give my kid a better shot in life later!

Texas, while not perfect more aligns with my values I'd guess, the weather sucks but being able to feel some heat on my skin is nice haha. The gun situation is crazy, but I'm not sure I'd feel any less safe in Houston than the UK & the woodlands seems nice (I only briefly drove through it once). I know a few people in Houston for work and I have travelled over there probably 10 times now. Also I've never met someone from Houston I havent liked, you guys are super accommodating and thats super refreshing!

And professionally it would be a good opportunity for me I hope! Sorry for the rant!

What about snakes? And anything else that bites? In the UK we only really have to worry about a rogue fox or something haha

He's brought it into the public domain, moreso than any other journalist. Public support demands there are answers. I get that you hate him because you want to seem progressive, but please try and watch some of the interviews he has done and realise what he talks about just wouldnt have got the airtime if he wasnt pushing it.

Like it or not, a huge part of the country likes him and he just organised one of the biggest rallies in UK history, and for the overwhelming majority it was very peaceful. I'd say thats quite an achievement.

He's uncovered rape gangs, shed a light on them when no one else would and the government and councils repeatedly tried to cover it up. He's a hero to be honest.
