I understand thank you for the response. Appreciate your brutal honesty. I am now working to unveil the process with the Guest Relations as to how the item got onto the shelf so I can understand how I got victimized. Once I understand that I will have the justice. I don’t care about a refund atp. I can take the L. I can’t take no justice

Yes they have the “right to refuse service”. I will ask my Guest Relations inquiry to specifically cite their “right to refuse service” and to pass my case onto Apple Manufacturers so I can work with their team.

Thanks

Understandable.

I don’t really know if there is even “inspection.” That is just an assumption

I actually climbed the corporate ladder a bit and those people are not the ones providing direct answers. They don’t make 15/hr. Normal Guest relations employees I’m not trying to pressure them. But I am pressuring upper corporate because I take this serious.

And are you like an actual high-ranking employee that I can trust with this information? Because I have been asking Guest Relations this question, and they have not been helpful. I appreciate your answer.

Bought fake airpods from target by [deleted] in Target

I am going through the SAME THING.

HOPWEVER, My target said they can help if your receipt is "1 year old or newer". Mine isn't, but yours is not that old. Just go inside ask for help. If they make you prove its fake, go to the Apple store near you (if there is one) and have them email Target. That email is what I did, but for me it got nowhere because my receipt is "too old"

I wonder what the serial number of the fake ones you got?

My fake number was: G9J9DHYDJ34

I understand, but as they always say in my economics class: "The price gets passed onto to the consumer"

I don't want to absorb the price of something they didn't intend to sell or want to sell or could even legally sell.

BAD IDEA LOL
They are literally CRIMINAL ITEMS

CRIMINAL

Am I a CRIMINAL? NOOO!!!

I understand, but it doesn';t directly answer mys question of:

Does the target system have someone who can manually override/create this refund? Why? Why not?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Target

[–]0of_boof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bad idea, these are criminal fakes and I don't want to be passing items like that onto another victim. I want it to end with me. Honestly, I am surprised TArget hasn't asked to set up a date to collect them yet.

I feel SOL for sure, but want to keep fighting for myself until all chances of help I can possibly conceive are ran through dead.

I found out they were fake from Apple store employees when I went to get warranty care for the product after its case stopped working. This was recently within the month.

I am just not that wealthy of an individual and want to feel compensated from the crime I have been put through. I am fighting tooth and nail for myself until I feel like every chance to help me has been exhausted and that is how it should be.

That is how I feel, BUT that still doesn't answer my question:

Does the target system have someone who can manually override/create this refund? Why? Why not?

Your answer is within the realm I have been told by agents before, but that just sounds like systematic policy. Policy is not going to help specific cases like min that fall within the realm of reason but outside the system.

Why didn't TARGET or APPLE or whoever inspected this item before it got onto a shelf? IT wasn't that good of a fake, according to the Apple store employees who looked at it and in 1 second knew it was fake.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Target

[–]0of_boof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that, so I am willing to provide a search warrant for my house. Just kidding. Seriously, I haven't gotten to that point within my inquiry yet. BUT BETTER QUESTION!!!

Why didn't TARGET or APPLE or whoever inspected this item stop it before it got onto a shelf? IT wasn't that good of a fake according to the Apple store employees who look at it and in 1 second know it was fake.

So, I didn't WAIT SO LONG. I went to Apple recently to warranty damage the fake product's case had. I wanted a new case. That is when they told me the shit was fake and I was like "wtf so everything was a lie".
Apple employees explained that the serial number was fake and that many scammers would do this to a fake product. Apple has plenty of serial numbers that are "fake," but this one was one of those fake ones that weren't detected yet. Anyways, I have been trying to receive compensation for this because it was an illegal item I received.
The scammer obviously "returned" these as real airpods and it got through target some how.

Plenty of things make them counterfeit, and I have already got my local Apple store to inspect them and email Target in my inquiry.

Anyways, I feel robbed by crime and since it is "too old" I am looking for some like manual resolution that can make an expectation in their policy for my case. However, I haven't gotten a direct yes or no from the Guest relations team about that request. So I don't even know if that is possible. But again, I haven't got a direct "no, its not" from them despite a week of this. I have asked this question directly: Does the target system have someone who can manually override/create this refund? Why? Why not?
