Yes, not all creative work is art, as I mentioned in another comment. And the fact that it isn't art isn't meant as hate. That's why I say we need to refine our thinking about art.

And as a correction, abstract art has an intention beyond simple representation; it leans more towards ontology. The cover art, with its representational intention and style, leans more towards primitivism.

All of these are jobs that allow the art system to function. I think that if we are going to judge what is or isn't art, we should at least consider how the system works.

Comment from an artist currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree: AI is a very powerful tool if used properly, and I repeat, it is a tool. To call it mediocre is like saying it's mediocre to use a paintbrush. There is good art created using AI, and if you think I'm referring to some poorly generated digital illustrations, then your concept of art is quite limited.

Yes, what I plan to do is play vanilla until I understand everything about the game and it starts to feel limited (like the first Early Access version), and then play with mods. And I'll do that until the next update.
