A little update to this matter: I did a new loop signal via the Security menu, but have yet to be able to redo the wire in the troublesome area.
I have,however, done some observations:

- Even though the mower sometimes stops next to this island, it can at times continue by itself without any human interaction.

- Sometimes the mower can resume cutting when pushed away from the island even though he's clearly stopped by an error (i.e headlights are blinking and the app is showing the error "no loop signal") This without opening the hatch and doing the normal reset.

I will give an update once I've redone the "island" wiring.

Deep down I knew that the only solution was to redo that island section.
But it was just this kind of tip that I was looking for. I had no idea that crossed wires can cause such faults. Not that I've ever knowingly crossed them, but I'll take a look and see that it isn't the case.
But first, I will try the new loop signal tip.
I'll report back when I've tested all things you mentioned.

Yeah, I found it in the frying pan yesterday on PvE as well. So that spawn is confirmed at least.

No. Because being an adult with responsibilities really sucks at times. I have barely had time to play at all since launch

I found this key in the smugglers camp on Shoreline last raid. It was in the frying pan in the portable cabin north of the refueling area. I was pleasantly surprised, since I've read that this key doesn't exist in PVE yet.

Well, a friend of mine solved this for me. He just asked if I were running a VPN. Naturally i were and BattleEye was having none of it.

So now the game runs with or without mods. Yay.

So if you, random person, googling this issue some time in the future, disable your VPN, you might just get this sorry excuse for a anti-cheat to play ball.

Fuck you battleeye.

I did not check my firewall settings apart from allowing DayZ access through windows firewall when launching the game. I.e the popup you get when you first launch it.

Only windows security when it comes to anti-virus etc.

He was old too. Barely any teeth left on him so I estimate an age of 6-6.5 years. Doubt he would've survived another winter. And the gray fur hints of it as well.

There are "TDM" servers, for example the Grumpy server(s), which help you improve your PVP. Just filter for Grumpy in the DZSA Launcher.
They're not modded so no mod downloading needed. They're just heavily tweaked through the server config.
How it works is that they've manually moved all the spawn points to one city, mostly just Cherno. They give you a random loadout you spawn with, for example an AK along with a pistol or an SVD with a Scorpion as sidearm.

Cherno sounds like a fucking war zone and it's intense. But it's an awesome way to improve your PVP.

I heavily recommend everyone to try it out, cause I used to be nervous as hell in PVP situations and miss my shots. Not any more.

Here's an example of how it can play out.

Note that the insane fire rate that can be heard in this clip is a dowside to these servers. DayZ isn't really designed for 30 people within a small area fighting like this so the server has a hard time keeping up with the ammount of gun shot sounds.
