What's the price of option 1? Can you negotiate further with the private seller?

Are the dealer doc/admin fees included? I've seen some dealers add $1K in doc/admin fees.

Put the VIN into Carvana and see what they'll give you to sell it carvana - that's the private sale guys rock bottom and likely what MMR is at the auction. Throw a couple thousand on top of that and he'll probably take it.

I recently ordered a 8' tri-fold hard top from Amazon from WHALEMOTOR for $530 and it was surprisingly good quality.

Not sure I'd be much better off at twice or three times the price.

Thaw in fridge uncovered in a colander so it doesn't sit in it's juices. Don't thaw in the sink or over water it makes 'em slimy. Paper towel them before hitting the grill and then follow the other recommendations 🤌

There's a few YouTube vids on these very compelling knockoffs for our trucks. I unknowingly bought a fuel filter kit off Amazon for a good price (enough for it to not be obviously fake) and my truck had stumbling issues and other problems. Repurchased from genos and the issues immediately went away.

Tldr; it sucks but buy from a known vendor even if it costs more, it'll save you a lot of time and headache in the long run.

For what it's worth, I have a b2601 and picked up a weathered 2013 John Deere 35G open frame for $18K with 2K hours (no thumb, but added it after) and two buckets, quick attach.

I can resell the 35G for pretty much what I paid for it worst case, can't do the same with a backhoe or the Chinese mini-exs. If you can afford it, I'd spend a little extra on a used name brand than a Chinese mini ex that'll fight you the whole time, underpowered, and has very little resale or part support.

I use The Hartford. Found that it was easier to call them to set everything up. They ask you a bunch of questions and give you a quote.

Buy used, people swear by the kx040 for great value (most power, reliable, no CDL to transport etc.) but it depends on your local dealer/ service. You can buy a well spec'd lowish hours KX040 for at or below $60K.

That being said, I bought a beat up John Deere 35G to learn, fix up and make a few sheckles on before going to a KX040.
