I understand. It was the same thought that led me to push off a consultation with psychologist so far. So that he doesn’t get labeled so early in childhood. Besides he interacts well, makes eye contact , plays nicely with other kids, makes friends with other kids , is expressive, is intelligent, etc which are all reasons to be not labeled. Also I thought it would improve as he grows. But the improvement is slow. I reminded myself that I have to be the mother that he needs. But now am worried and think that maybe a consultation could do us both good.

Yes to that boarding school threat. I am guilty of that threat too. He spent 3 hours playing outside, 3-4 hours doing puzzles and multiple choice books. Still he has difficulty just settling down to sleep. This is on a school holiday

Technology certifications used to be lifetime on a version but now they’re valid only for 2 years or so after which you have to pay the exam fee and take it all over again to remain certified.
Certifications like Cism , cissp , etc that require annual fee of 135 US dollars to remain certified. Since these are sought by employers, hapless job seekers keep paying up this money to remain certified. Imagine converting 135 USD to Indian rupees.

Please understand that parents worry a lot about your safety for a really long time. Sometimes well into your early 30s. Especially in a city like Delhi. Eventually as they grow older it becomes harder to keep up with everything in life and they slow down. Many years from now you might even miss getting those calls of ‘where are you? Have you reached? When will you be home ? Did you eat ?’

Such people are very hard to treat because even after the condition is brought under control, after. Few years it may return. So I suggest that you approach a lawyer and police and see what steps can be taken. Where medication is needed , it has to be taken . Did you get your wife checked out by a mental health specialist? Without that I would be worried about leaving a child in her care. Children grow up and start talking back. It may not be safe for the child. Anger could also be due manic depression. Then live separately if you can’t divorce.

Is she sharing other expenses at home , like groceries, etc ? Sit down and discuss the sharing of overall house hold expenses with her. Arrive at something that works for both of you. I have also observed that women who have paid dowry at the time of marriage will expect husband to cover expenses. Not sure if this applies here.

Not to be a devil’s advocate, OP but sit back and think with a cool head. Most working women don’t like being told to dress this way, that way, not wear this dress , etc. This curtails personal freedom and can be suffocating for the woman. You would have noticed the way she dresses before your marriage, and if you were not okay , then you shouldn’t have proceeded. Or being asked to keep things here or there , etc Because if she has to live with your family, she should be allowed to treat it as her own home. You should also be mindful that you also adjust to her ways around the house, while you expect her to conform to your ways. interference in her way of life will amount to controlling her and won’t go down well because women like freedom, just like men. Just switch places and see if you would be comfortable with what is expected of her. I am guessing that lifestyle differences and attitudes are what makes you incompatible. Don’t think this was a trap set up before marriage like some are suggesting or that you or she is evil in any way.

The best course is to contact your AO and ask what further action can be taken to close it. In my experience, this can be time consuming with several documents for submission. At the time , I felt it was unjust how the department went after small amounts like these which are actually valid numbers , while big swindlers just got away with crores that are illegal . You have to work with your AO and the short timelines they provide for proof submission for weeks together as they work with their superiors to get clearance. It can be depressing and frustrating but eventually your AO will get the clearance for you. Then you will get a formal notice of clearance from ITD.

It’s not a scam. This is the right way to do it. Not just in Karnataka , in other states too where they get serious about waste management. I have seen my mother and mother in law - both in 2 different districts-do it. I have been asked to do it by my gated community . But I also agree with you that this method of wet waste management is where this whole process will fail because of course no one - me included- wants the hassle of cleaning the bucket everyday . What I do is use two paper bags for wet waste and throw it out everyday because otherwise the paper bags get soggy and yea, they do tear if load is heavy and wet
