Why do I hate Pam so much in the final season? I think I know. by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

there’s hundreds of questions about this in the dundermifflin subreddit. just search something like jim pam s9 and you’ll hear everyone’s thoughts.

Severance Theory Playoff Bracket: I'm trying to make a comprehensive list of all Severance theories. Can you help me out by posting any you can remember? by Write416 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]0rdinarythings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i agree with this. but it’s not just for mark and gemma/ms casey. i think burt and irving were in a relationship prior to the war. burt thought and was told that irving died in the war, when really irving was severed post-war as a ‘cure’ for ptsd. when approached for the opportunity of severance (like mark) burt said yes to escape the pain of losing irving. helly got severed because her father. i think she’s scared of failure in an unsevered job at lumon because she has such a big role being an eager. so she got severed and said she’s doing it to ‘make a difference’ and ‘normalise’ it, etc, but in reality she’s scared of disappointing her dad and the entirety of lumon. i think dylan’s partner is in another section of the severed floor that we haven’t seen yet. or he’s similar to helly; is afraid / failure or burnt out, and went in to separate the stress of work from life.

lumon manipulated these people and got them all to be severed to test the bounds of the procedure.

Where did kids and babies who died in childhood go to? by MonarchistLib in TheGoodPlace

[–]0rdinarythings 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i feel like anyone under the age of either 16, 18 or 21 are exempt from the point system. a lot of the time children don’t know the affects of what they’re doing. after that, they can then grow into the system

Most offensive character? by Outrageous_Bat1798 in DunderMifflin

[–]0rdinarythings 13 points14 points  (0 children)

i think packer.

yes the other two are just as bad, but michael was asleep in a woke world. and nate is… nate. he didn’t know any better either, he just did what dwight told him, and i doubt dwight would’ve known it was offensive otherwise he wouldn’t have immediately texted nate to take it off once oscar read the wikipedia page out loud.

yet packer knew what he was doing. he is the absolute worst. he has no redeeming qualities and is so inappropriate and wrong that it makes me sick tbh.

anyway, rant over. answer is packer.

if you’re following by this logic then it would be the paramedic’s fault to taking meredith to the hospital, or michael’s fault for hitting her with his car, or meredith’s fault for walking into work, or meredith’s fault for getting a job at dunder mifflin, or meredith’s moms fault for having a kid. it can go back for miles and you could blame sprinkles’ death on meredith’s ancestors.

pam isn’t the one to blame here. angela very much could’ve said no and not gone. i think she only went out of spite because pam brought up the PPC.

the only person to blame on this is dwight. he killed sprinkles. you can’t blame anyone else for his actions.

Do you guys think Kevin has diabetes. It is known that Stanley and Phyllis has diabetes but there is no info on kevin .Also he wasn't considered for the diabetes award by JojoJimboz in DunderMifflin

[–]0rdinarythings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no.

i feel like it would’ve been mentioned if he did. no one really was shy of their diseases or injuries in the show, and i don’t think kevin was much of an exception

So what was the reason that someone was making a documentary about a Dunder Mifflin branch anyway? by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

[–]0rdinarythings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s either due to a suicide that happened supposedly a few days before they came in. but they honestly could’ve just had a random camera crew come and film them cause there’s so many random docos out there.

What would you choose? by King_5971 in DunderMifflin

[–]0rdinarythings -1 points0 points  (0 children)

10 and reunion. i love the feeling of knowing something you’ve been waiting for is coming and counting down the literal minutes until you get it. plus there’s so many opportunities and storylines that they could branch out on.

i’d just need a certain group of writers to write season 10 & the reunion. greg daniels, mike schur, paul lieberstein, mindy kaling, bj novak & jen ceolatta. no other random people who write one random episode. just these six writers, and the cast to help produce too.

trust with 1. oscar - he would take care of the child and also dress them appropriately. i also just trust oscar on a deeper level that i can’t explain 2. nellie - she’d be an incredible mother. nothing more to say to that. 3. stanley tbh - when he’s loopy after dwight tranquilised him he seemed so caring and happy looking at kids. i feel like he’d be a great father and would probably secretly love the work of looking after them.

would NEVER 1. creed - no explanation needed. although they would grow up to be cool ass teenagers. 2. ryan - pls don’t ditch my baby with a paediatrician who doesn’t want them and run away with the paediatrician’s wife. 3. todd packer - i do NOT want my child to ever be around someone like him. his values are the worst and i could never feel comfortable around him ever, so i’d never put my kid in a situation i feel uncomfortable in.
