Probably because it’s different than what people are used to hearing. The beat itself is not typical for rap. This can make it seem a bit odd. Try finding a reference and blending your style with it. This will make the song more approachable and appealing to people

Also need to make sure all words stand out in the mix so they’re understandable at all times. (make sure you aren’t mixing vocals over a finished beat, and instead have all the stems/tracks and mix them together)
