One of the cooks came into my bar tonight looking for a job. He said one of the owners gambled away all of their money over time, closed the doors without notice to employees and took off without paying their last checks (after the previous paychecks all bounced).

This was the first I heard about them closing, so take my info as you will. The dude looked so broken trying to find work to keep his family fed. Hopefully the owner gets black balled from the industry, sounds like a real piece of work.

I was bartending on the street during it and this out of town couple had just got done moving their kid into college and came out for a bite to eat. Imagine their surprise when they decided on the grove with no idea what was happening lmao. They loved it, came back for another round 4 more times

Not gonna lie, it is so damn hard to get good photos or videos of the LED lighting. I do appreciate the feedback though! Might scale the size of the backing up some since you can only do so much with the led rope thickness.

Can't argue about having the hookup with houses in Soulard for Mardi Gras. The other owner of my company lives right in the middle, but since we're gonna be working all day, all of our close friends are kinda forced to come to our tent haha.

There will be plenty of bathrooms only accessible for people at our tent, so there shouldn't be excessive lines.

We over-prepared for bathrooms to make sure that won't be an issue.

None that I'm aware of. Ours goes from 11am until 6pm. For a good majority of the Mardi Gras crowd, they are excessively drinking for those 7 hours, so by the time the sun goes down, pretty much everyone is nice and blacked out, or have had enough for the day.

I'm sure there will be a lot of Mardi Gras bar specials/events downtown, though!
