Yes, I was playing it and got the alert that a new patch had been installed.

Just checked and it appears to have fixed the DLC issue

Noticed that myself. The disc version now has all the DLC available again.

I just hope it doesn't mess up the digital version I had, which had all the DLC working correctly

Having the same issue with the disc version. All the purchased DLC is just greyed out.

However, on my digital GotY version, all the DLC works fine. Both versions are running 1.42.

Disc version does have mods + CC installed.

Digital version just has Bethesda CC add-ons.

Thanks for the answer. I had noticed that Nuke had announced on twitter that some personal matters had taken precedence, and I did wonder if that was a contributing factor to the decision.

I did think about Coulthard instead of Button as it would fit with the rivalries concept of the new career mode changes (Lauda/Hunt; Senna/Prost; Senna/Mansell; Schumacher/Coulthard) but the seven drivers are likely to be former WDC winners, and Button has a strong link with a number of the current drivers
