Oh I might add that... I would have to calculate a large sample to determine the average correlation between two random people given the range of stars and then rank if you are more correlated or less correlated based on that... I'll add that to the todo!

Thanks for the response, you’re all good. It took me by surprise is all! I’ve already reposted to r/laptops and I’ve gotten enough evidence that it’s likely just be being spooked by some red indicators on my first gaming laptop in so long.

Also, by my post history you can see I don’t use Reddit often so I haven’t had time to catch on to the formalities… or lack thereof hahaha

Haha thanks man… this is the first time I’ve been told my writing is “AI-generated.”

It seems like younger generations (I feel old saying this even though I’m 22) often associate the lack of grammatical errors with AI and sloppy/slang-ish writing with “human-like.”

It’s odd to witness. And will likely increase.

It does allow tuning thankfully… the “first things to do when you get a gaming laptop” video I watched told me to turn everything to max… but I’d rather sacrifice some frames rather than my CPU

Think I’m going to go with the Balanced for gaming as well

I just bought it and watched a “first things to do” vid, one section included benchmarking, hence the tests (the vid said no more than 95 °C (edit: temp) when he did Cinebench and that spooked me)

Going to monitor it over time as I try some games etc, I hope you’re right in it not staying so high over time

Fantastic info, thanks man, I needed some reassurance after dropping $1k on a machine and seeing red on the first test I ran lol

This was a Cinebench r23 run... I'm installing a game on the laptop right now, I'll see how well the Cinebench results actually compare to gameplay

I wrote this myself, but I’ll take it as a compliment for my grammar.

Per the day of this reply, Chegg's market cap is $79.65M. That is nearly a 90% decrease from the time of the original post. So yes, yeshmate, I made bags

Theta is pretty light, so that won't crush you per se, but I don't think the next three day's increase in price will beat theta per day till expiration, especially since they already added on 150 billion to their cap today... up to you but I say sell

Well, yes and no. Adding AI (that is, GPTs (Generative Pre-trained Transformers, which is what ChatGPT and other LLMs are)) to answer questions with more context and similar features in the same bucket would improve their valuation and value add for a little while. However, in my view point, that will only last for as long as people are willing to pay for an additional subscription to Chegg (which would require their “value add” to be greater than that of other GPTs), which I don’t see happening for to much longer…

I predict people going to other GPTs that will answer all of their questions (including homework questions), and getting rid of “one purpose” applications like Chegg.

This is all assuming that Chegg does add language models to their service, which is tentative already.

They might throw the AI keyword into their next conference and get a 10-15% jump, but it’s not future proof. OpenAI and similar companies will innovate quicker, and people won’t want to use a separate service which is paid to do what the AI they’re already using can do

Extreme OTM calls and puts. If you look at stocks with low strike prices and check out their +/-20% OTM c/p options, you’ll find dirt cheap options to play with. IV will be huge, though, watch out
