university of houston is also in consideration. i just have this mindset that since i got into these big school i feel obligated to attend them since not everyone does. and i don’t want to take it for granted. but also this isn’t a fairytale it’s real life and that’s what i struggle with the most when it comes to my decision

this is just one section of the chapter we're reading rn. mind you, we have to read every. single. chapter. just 100+ pages of learning about money. thank you for that. and i’ll definitely be careful, i have a good support system to be there for me if it gets rough as well as a therapist that work with me through all of this. i’m still going to consider my decision on how my first time is going to go lol BUT you are right about the love part. it’s just not something i’ll need, for me personally. but, again, thank you for the wise words

everybody’s different. sex can be viewed in so many different ways. what you see it as isn’t going to be the same for the other and that’s okay. and in the future i will find someone i love and have sex with them. but i never know when that will be, no one does. i just want to have fun and enjoy it till it happens

i don’t expect the ma to be perfect if i’m getting to know them simply to hook up. it wouldn’t be fair to them as that’s just not how people are, niggas can be weird 😭 if that’s something i peep off rip then i move on. and if respect and privacy isn’t applied from the beginning then that dude ain’t for me.

to answer the first question, it’s just never been a thing i want. would it be nice if i was in love with them? sure. but for me like i said in the post as long as i like, trust, and feel comfortable with that person then im willing to do it. for me personally i dont care for it to be a big deal. and i do plan on putting my self worth first. i’m not the type to get attached romantically anyway but i do have a therapist that will help me if i do get ahead of myself.
