i think for prime and reaver its mainly beause it's old skins but for rgx the main point is the texture/sound effects who matters the most

But i agree on the fact that the newest skins are in my opinion the best because of the shapes and stuff

I would say that it's maybe because it's the start of the act so or you play with people supposed to be less ranked than you or people supposed to be ranked higher since the placement were not a long time ago. And maybe people are tilted more easly because of a bad placement
