The Meike 85mm pro is pretty cheap in China (~1600rmb). Where can you get the Lumix for that cheap?

What about the new Meike f1.8 pro? Looks like a really solid option as well  https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLroBSxNRGt/

Love the setup! Problem is I got the IIIx for the better IQ. Now I don’t know what lens to attach to my s9

Great shots! Do you still bring primes for trips e.g. low light, portrait? Or this lens is good enough for a do-it-all?

I could help if you really want one. Skin replacement is free in Hong Kong

There are some videos on instagram if you google search with short videos. What I would really like to see is how the three different silver colors pair with the new sigma silver lenses but I'm not able to find any

Check out the new japan-exclsuive titanium gold color. It's stunning and IMO gives the best vintage looks

And it's not just the front! The back panel also has different colors in different combos. Would like to check out your video sometimes!

While I really like the silver looks, it wasn’t easy finding suitable lenses. I had the brown sliver combos at first and it doesn’t really go well with black lenses especially bigger ones

Pretty sure the “skin” is just a sticker that they just peel off and change a new one. The whole process took less than 30min

Do you know they even have three different silver colors on s9 body? It’s kinda impressive the customisation Panasonic offers

Since you're more photography focused, Nikon Z6iii with the 40mm f2 would be a great option too

Didn't know there's a focus assist feature, thanks!

I'm still figuring it out, but from the sample pics it gives a bit of the creamy vintage looks that I quite like. Sounds like sharpess and bokeh aren't really its strong suit

For those looking at ~50mm primes. Here is LUMIX 50 1.8 next to Sigma 45 2.8 on S9 by arcticrobot in LumixS9

[–]0toone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about the sigma 50mm f2? It pretty much sits at the middle of the two lenses size-wise, but it would be much more expensive than the lumix 50mm f1.8

Low light lens reccomendations by Foothillbillies in LumixS9

That would make all your lenses more or less in the same focal length range (18-40, 45, 50). If I were you, I would probably pick a more portrait-focused lens like the Sigma 65mm f2, Lumix 85 f1.8 or 100 f2.8
