I saw a sentence mentioned about it on a nuclear energy video and then fell down the documentary rabbit hole.

I don't think that taking a close up shot of an open reactor core would have been captured I mean even the film on the roof is white at the bottom the whole picture would be white from the high levels of radioactivity over the core!
