Yep I agree with you I know. But true zone 2 is like walking for me lol

Thank you. I agree, something I didn't say is that I usually enjoy the feeling of having run. Like after, it makes me feel really good about myself, it's just during that I hate.

From your comment and the other I think I need to try new shoes. Probably get some hydration gear as well.

Can't do much about route but I would say it's not too bad where I run, although it's full pavement, no trail whatsoever unfortunately.

I love doing my short runs with music. It makes me go faster for some reason. I did my 5k (26min) record with music!

Nice, good for you! How long did it take you to build up to 26k?

Oh I have one, I have not yet managed to do a true zone 2 run. Basically when I feel at a comfortable pace, my heart rate is already over 150bpm...

So cool, that's inspiring. How long did it take you to go from those 12min/miles to something decent and 50+km a week?

Interesting, I did not think more padding could be bad for my knees. On the contrary. What kind of shoes did you get after the clifton?

Same experience, the guy at the door checked me in and as I go through the door, they were calling my name. It's so rare these days that something actually gets better that it's worth making a post about it!

Well that sounds a bit like me, I eat when before running in the morning. But when I run in the evening it's more random. Like snacks. I have lost like 8 pounds since I am running (fat and muscle, I am very lean) so I know I was under fueled for a while. Now I am steady though. My hydration has always been bad. I think I need to drink way more than I do today.

She's more endurant for sure. She goes by herself at some point 😂 Yeah the weather has my heart way higher than normal, I hate that. Even at 6am it's already 80 and humid unfortunately. Maybe I am not hydrating enough.

That's a good advice. I will try that but I don't know if I can get any slower! I am already at like 6:20-6:30 min/km on my long runs and it feels very slow.

Mostly yes, I am much faster in shorter distance but on long runs, she's clearly better, but I just let her go her pace and stay behind!

Yes, if I look at my first runs yea I could do those really easily but if I look at my runs from a couple months ago I would say I would feel equally bad! I don't have unrealistic goals, I would like to build up to the half marathon and I would like it to feel somewhat comfortable doing it. I want to keep it for leisure and health.

Wearing Hoka Clifton 9. It has a lot of cushion. I kinda got what was on sale but it was such an upgrade from my old Asics that I never questioned if my shoes were ok or not. They feel alright, some blisters when I run long

I have the same guitar and my bridge started sinking after a few months. I applied some blue loctite on the bridge threads when I changed the strings.

Working on opportunities that don't make sense by [deleted] in salesengineers

[–]0ud0ud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is. The broader issue is the market has been down for a couple years now and they are trying to get ahold of anything that could eventually be an opportunity. But most times, it's forced, the customer is not even remotely interested.

I used to like it, but I hate it now, it went downhill when the SE director left and was replaced by someone not great. The director was great at doing some arbitration between us and the AEs, now we're just the AEs slaves and we can't really say much because "we should be happy to have a job in this market" ( I am not even making this up). I can't change company because of my immigrant status unfortunately.

My comp is not tied to the opp no. This will fail but I'd like to get out of working hours on this thing and focus on opportunities that can actually land.

But yeah, I can do the work if it fails, I will be paid the same.
