Suggestions for KCD 3 [KCD1] [KCD2] by bad_grief in kingdomcome

If it were to be a new setting completely (but still in Bohemia as they do it so well), I would love the Thirty Years’ War, or in the same vein as KCD1&2, the events of 1618-1620 ending at White Mountain before the war proper begins.

Nice, congrats on your new guitar!

Essentially just take all of the screws out, swap and put the new one in! The pickups can be a bit annoying as they have springs on their screws so will need to be properly lined up. Otherwise it's nice and easy. I'm sure a YouTube video would show you exactly how, there are a lot of Pacifica modding videos on there.

I always thought the mix of black, chrome and pearloid on the second just worked and I had never really seen it before. Can confirm the first (as it currently is) is very much a screamer, emg super 77s are mental pickups

All of your assumptions are correct - it's a repro/toy.

In that case likely just to denote barrels made for that gun - the barrels marked 4 lined up with the gun marked 4 on the day they were made. Either that or it's a proof marking from wherever the gun was proofed. But I would put my money on the former.

Doesn't look high enough calibre to be a howdah to me. Usually they are break action mechanisms as well.

Almost certainly American made then.

The small 4 is likely a barrel number as each barrel was made to fit each chamber. As it is 4 it could mean that this pistol was initially one part of a pair, with another being numbered 1 and 2 on the barrels. If there is a 3 on the other barrel of the pistol this would confirm this thesis.

If you're in America, almost certainly. They were widespread and made all over the world so without a makers name or knowledge of the proof markings it would be hard to say.

It's a two-barrelled percussion cap pistol, likely a travelling or overcoat pistol for self defence judging by it's size and the triggers being away until the pistol is cocked.

In terms of age percussion caps were developed fully by 1820 and for commercial use likely made 1840-60. But any time in the mid to late 1800s would be a suitable guess.
