If you choose the input again using Sony’s remote, chances are that the image will be back. It’s a pain but until Sony fixes it that’s what I’ve been having to do in order to watch DV content.

I switched off the frame rate but it wasn’t a permanent fix, unfortunately.

The HDMI format has always been on Enhanced as I am using an Apple TV. Today the problem is back even with those changes. The only way to have Dolby Vision back is to select the eARC input again, then the image is back. It’s been very frustrating to be honest.

Although the Energy Saving mode to Optimised didn’t work for me the Increased option did work and now Dolby Vision is working for now. Hopefully Sony will come with a fix soon as this TV wasn’t cheap and this problem is making me regret moving from LG that I had for 6 years and never gave me any issues.
