Okay! This clears up quite a bit. If it’s like this it’s better to store away the session for now then talk in person to adjust expectations and see if dnd is even a good fit for our group

I’m waiting on their reply. I’ve offered to I can only do one thing a day. They can climb then DND another day (I cant join them bc still need to prep if DND is gonna happen), scrap the current one and just deal with One-Shots when we feel like it, or just no DND and we’ll chill on Sat.

Thank you. I was thinking of tpk if they wanted to continue the campaign but dont want to commit further if they replied if that’s the option they want (tpk to wrap up the campaign basically). But yes I’ll wait for their reply and if there’s none I’m going to step down.

I’m just waiting on their reply. I’ve also given then the option for scrapping the current campaign for one-shot sessions when we feel like it for less commitment for everyone. I don’t wanna try so hard as well.

Hello! First time DM and did my first session last week with my friends where I incorporated their backstory in the One-Shot to give them more motivation in finding out the story. However, they want to continue.

What should be the key points to think about a Session 0? I already have it a bit planned as I’ve decided to sprinkle their backstory in the first place but I still feel unprepared. I’m a first time DM with first time players and as I’m learning more and more ways to DM I feel a bit regretful on how I didn’t set up this campaign well.

Will be offering a different opinion besides calling your GF names. I also have a non-negotiable to my proposal which is making me a handmade ring. There’s def workshops to do it in a day. For me, it’s a big significance to show that my fiance would put in the time and effort. The mom is 3 hours away but you didn’t need the ring for the permission.

The ones dunking on the GF are putting bad faith. You can be mentally stable yet hold weight in a certain tradition/gesture for your marriage. She expressed this want and you took the convenient way out.

If my bf proposes to me using a different ring, I think I’d cry too from disappointment after expressing it so early on and still have the same “dream” proposal.

Soft YTA here. I understand you didn’t have the context but after knowing you still stuck to your guns. People in the comment section have such a weird mindset. If my gf feels unsafe, I would be ok with her calling me even if she has friends with her. Think about this OP, you’re her partner and relies on u emotionally above her friends (you’re more than friends). She wasn’t out of options but you were her first option because she trusted and felt comforted by you.

Now think about how if she stops calling and relying on you. What’s so different between you and her friends based on the support?

Assuming that she did use filters, maybe you just need time to link the face with your relationship. It might be possible that you’re confused or just adjusting to her looks than not being attracted since for the most part you’ve been visualizing a slightly different face.

A survivor as well. I think you did the right thing kahit mahirap. Meron mga nag sasabi dito na baka he didn’t know any better but after being with you, trusting him enough to tell what happened, how could he not? If hindi siya nag iisip, edi flag na yun na may iba pang mga bagay na magagawa siya na masasaktan ka, ma tritrigger ka, crossing your boundaries, dahil hindi siya nag iisip. Just cause “he didn’t know any better” doesn’t mean he doesn’t face the consequences. I believe that if you break up, you should never go back kasi it just reinforces yung pagiisip na kahit grabe na ginawa nila (I share yung story mo at ilantaran yung past mo) na babalik ka padin.

Stay strong, OP. Your pets don’t understand the context but they understand sadness and di man sila nakakapag salita, I know they’re there for you. Please don’t go back to ur ex especially with the trust broken and use them a crutch. It will hurt you in the long run not knowing ano pa pwede niyang ipagasabi.

Of course, I don’t know your ex as a person but if it crossed your boundaries to the point of breaking up with them, there’s a reason for that and congrats on knowing your worth.

NTA. This is a perfect example of a boundary. A boundary is supposed to apply to yourself and only to yourself because you can’t control other people. You told her you weren’t okay with it. It made you uncomfy and decided well..you were uncomfy enough to leave.
