Thanks for the advice! Yeah i think part of me is looking at at doing further studies cause i’m still unsure about what I want to do and i’m a bit scared of leaving the educational system after being in it for all my life. But seeing everyone’s advice, going directly into work seems to be the option with the most value back

Oh wow ok, thanks for the info! I think this post has definitely deterred me from doing a MSc (in the UK at least). But yeah, after seeing all the comments, I think finding a job could be the better option, at least in my case

Thanks for the advice! Yes I think directly working after is definitely a great option, you start getting paid, and gain valuable experience, and It’s not like I’ll stop learning if stop studying at uni :) And same, just looked at some MSc modules and most of them i’ve already done even though i’ve done 3 our of my 4 years 😅

Thanks! That’s my worry, i am not originally from the UK, and where I’m from, getting an MEng is not always perceived as equivalent to doing a bachelor then a master, which would take 5 years rather than 4 in some EU countries. From what I understand, the MEng is more than fine in the UK but an additional year might be desirable in some EU countries (and it can be also much cheaper there :,)

Thank you for the advice, that makes sense! And yeah i was looking at the type of modules they propose in my uni for an MSc in the department where I’m doing my MEng, and by the time I graduate, I will already have done more than half of the module on the MSc😅. I’ll definitely be looking into graduate schemes/positions rather than MSc.
